How to promote the cultural news of a destination in a context affected by the Covid-19 pandemic?

Objective

In a context of still partially closed borders with required tests on departure and arrival for visitors, Tourisme Montréal wished to value the work accomplished during the almost two years of the pandemic from the point of view of the cultural policy of the metropolis and also promote the cultural news to come.

Approach

As part of a trip to France by Tourisme Montréal’s Vice President, Destination Development and Public Affairs, Manuela Goya, GroupExpression chose to use the interview format to promote Montréal’s culture. TV5 Monde, watched and listened to by francophones around the world, proved to be the ideal setting for this desired immediate media coverage.
